A place to dance and play for girls and boys ages 6mo. to 6 years

 BSD Jubilee Classes Available

Mommy and Me (Ages 6mos – 2.5yrs) This class will introduce
infants and young toddlers to music and movement with the help
of their parents. It will also begin the encouragement of social
interaction with their peers. The 30 min class allows 10 mins of
free play, 10 mins of guided play, and 10 mins of introduction to
music and movement. Mommy and Me classes are broken into
three different age groups: 0-8mos, 9-18mos, and 1.5 – 2.5yrs.

Tiny Tots (Ages 2.5yrs – 3.5yrs) This class will continue with the
introduction to music and movement to toddlers and young pre-
schoolers. This is a mommy-free environment where children are
encouraged to interact with their peers as well as begin to take
directions from the dance educator. The 45 min class will allow 10mins of free play, 15 mins of guided play, 20 mins of guided creative movement and ballet introduction. Tap will be introduced in January.

Pre-School (Ages 3.6yrs – 4.11yrs) This class will be a continuation of the Tiny Tot program – increasing the knowledge of ballet and tap. The 60min class will include 45 minutes of ballet and tap with 15mins of guided play on age appropriate tumbling equipment. The combination of direct instruction and guided play will focus on enhancing students motor skills, listening capabilities, flexibility, balance, rhythm, and improve self-confidence.

Kinder (Ages 5yrs – 6.5yrs) This class is a continuation of the Pre-School program. A continuation in Tap and Ballet with new skills being introduced. The 60min class will allow 30mins of Ballet and 30 mins of Tap with occasional free play at the end of class. Jazz will be introduced in April.

Boucher School of Dance Classes available:

Combo (Ages 6yrs-8yrs) 1.5hr class including Tap, Ballet, and Jazz. Combo classes perform two numbers in the recital.

Hour Classes (Ages 8yr –Adult) 1hr classes in any of the following: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Yoga, or Pop.

Classes are filled with technique, combinations, choreography, and FUN!!! Each our class performs one number in the recital.

Adult Classes (For the Young at Heart) – 1hr classes in Tap, Hip Hop, Yoga.

Unified Classes (Classes for different Age Groups) – Ihr classes in Creative Movement and Hip Hop for physically and mentally challenges children and adults. Each class is very personal and rewarding for every member of the class.

STUDIO POLICY

*CLASS OBSERVATION*
All parents are invited to observe classes on the first class of
each month through the viewing window featured in Studios 1 &
2 and via closed circuit television in our 3rd Studio.

*ATTENDANCE*
Attendance is very crucial in classroom situations to ensure all
students progress at the same pace.

*CLASS PLACEMENT*
Placement is carefully evaluated by age, experience, and ability to promote self-confidence and growth in all our students. Our competitive teams are more rigidly structured to create compatible lines and abilities. Some changes may occur after classes begin if faculty feels it is in the best interest of your child.

*PAYMENTS*
Payment is due in ten equal monthly installments by the 15th of each month September thru June. All payments received after the 15th will be assessed a $5.00 late fee each month. NO REFUNDS for unattended classes --Make-up classes are available.

TUITION BY HOURS PER WEEK
Tuition is calculated by the hours per week per account not dancer.

Unlimited Classes
Any amount of classes per week for the family’s account $200.00

FAMILY RATE
Add the total weekly hours of all children to determine your monthly tuition.

SELECTIVE CLASSES
Limited to intensive students.

Solos: $250.00 per five-week session due at first class. Additional rehearsals - $40.00/hr.

Duos: $200.00 per five-week session due at first class. Additional rehearsals - $20.00/hr/student.

Trios: $150.00 per five-week session due at first class. Additional rehearsals - $20.00/hr/student.

Small Groups: (3-8 students) $100.00 per five-week session due at first class. Additional rehearsals - $20.00/hr/student.

Large Groups: (9 or more students) $100.00 per student per five-week session due at first class. Additional rehearsals - $20.00/hr/student. 

Payment for specialty classes should be made out to the Boucher School of Dance in the form of a check.

CLASS ATTIRE

Pre-school and Kinder classes need any color leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes, tan tap shoes.

Combination classes are required to wear any color leotards with pink, tan or black tights.

All ballet classes that are one hour uprequire students to wear pink tights and pink split-sole ballet shoes. See your instructor regarding dance shoes. Buns required.

Hip-Hop classes are required to purchase jazz sneakers and may wear loose clothing over a leotard and tights. NO JEANS!

All other classes require a black leotard with tan or black tights, hair secured off face and neck.

The BSD adheres to a dress code. Any dancer without proper attire will be dismissed from class. STREET CLOTHES, including sweatshirts, t-shirts, socks, or nylons are unacceptable.

This year we offer dancers the ability to charge leotards, tights, and hair accessories to their accounts if any required class attire is missing or has been misplaced.

CLASS CANCELLATION

Be sure to tune into the following radio stations in the event of inclement weather.

WTAG - WSRS

A message is put on the studio answering machine one hour before scheduled classes begin. Canceled classes may be made up in another class during the week.

Costume Payment Plan:

First Deposit: $30.00 Due Oct. 1st.

Second Deposit: $30.00 Due Nov. 1st

Final Payment: All balances due February 1st.

BALANCE ON COSTUMES MUST BE PAID IN FULL TO RECEIVE COSTUME.
