Boucher School of Dance, started in 1976, continues to excel due to our foundation of care for our students, dedication to the art of Dance, and through the continued support of the families in Southern Worcester County.

Shawna is a BSD alumna who has been studying dance since the age of 6. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Massachusetts along with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. She has more then 6 years of teaching experience in tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, Latin/ballroom and contemporary idioms. She has performed all over Massachusetts at public schools with the University Dancer’s group and has done many resident performances at Umass, Hampshire College, Amherst College and Mount Holyoke College.
She has been seen dancing for Samantics Dance Company and in productions of How to Succeed…, Damn Yankees, The Music Man, and many more. In her college career she worked with many diverse choreographers like Mark Allen Davis, Fritha Pengelly, Billbob Brown, and Sam Kenney. Shawna has been choreographing since high school and loves to pass her knowledge and enthusiasm for dance onto others. This year she will be teaching all different ages in hip hop, tap and lyrical.
